SKATEMILL PACKAGES

The stated weeks are the recommended time period to complete purchased sessions. The athlete’s conditioning and other weekly commitments will dictate the number of weekly training sessions. Depending on the athlete’s current level of power and efficiency in the stride, noticeable improvement will vary for each skater. The average athlete skating 20 sessions over 3 month period can expect increased efficacy and muscle memory within of the stride. An athlete skating once a week will have a hard time developing needed muscle memory to see marked improvement.

Postseason Primer Package (15 Sessions over 6-8 weeks)
Geared to the Athletes that just finished his/her season but wants to prepare for AAA/HP/Showcase hockey over a two-month period. Provides Spring technique and conditioning work prior to Summer training season.

Pre-Season Training Camp (30 Sessions over 14-16 weeks)
Most popular package that typically starts in the middle of Summer taking the Athlete right up to training camp/tryouts. Each Athlete’s path is different, and the coaches will put together a plan for tailored to each Athlete (i.e. first time will start at a different place than Athlete with experience on SkateMill). Twice a week sessions to build technique, increase power and ultimately produce a more efficient skater.

Ultimate Off-Season Package (45 Sessions 20-24 weeks )
Package encompasses the Pre and Post season objective for each Athlete. Available for all ages however geared to the Hockey Player that has focused their training year-round.

BOOK A TIME

Once you’ve purchased a package, time to schedule your session.

Starting April 1st, 2021, the SkateMill will be available Monday – Thursday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 – 7:00 pm (time slots to be added to accommodate additional athletes) The “Schedule Now” button will generate an email to the Northern Elite Training Facility. Please indicate your preferred time block and days of week to train. Athletes will not skate more than “3” times a week and never on consecutive days without Head Coach approval. All Athletes are scheduled out three weeks at a time and adjusted thereafter.

The General Manager/Head Coach will fill each of the hour with “2-3” athletes of similar age / ability. An email will be sent on Friday to all Athletes for the following week’s schedule (conflicts that arise with the athletes scheduled date should be addressed no less than 24 hours from scheduled session or session will count towards SkateMill package). SkateMill athletes are encouraged to train in shorts or sweatpants unless instructed otherwise from a coach. Finally, NO athlete will be allowed on the SkateMill without signing the online waiver below. If you have any questions/concerns please use the Contact Us section to speak with the General Manager.
